La Casa Del Lacandon - Waterfront Hotel Flores, Flores

I had my ups and downs at this hotel. The view from my balcony was absolutely stunning, and the WiFi was reliable. However, the lack of advertised amenities and issues in the room really took away from the experience. The price didn’t match the quality, which was disappointing.

Hotel Lacandon is a gem in Flores, offering stunning sunset views and a clean, comfortable atmosphere. The location is fantastic, just steps away from great bars and restaurants. While the service was helpful most of the time, there were a few hiccups during the off-season regarding availability. Overall, it’s great value for money and I plan to return next time I’m in town.

We had a lovely three-night stay at Lacandon with beautiful views over the lake and clean facilities. The dining experience was exceptional with delicious food and drinks, but the service could have been better as the owner seemed more focused on making money than ensuring guest satisfaction. The economy room we stayed in was cramped and came with some issues like hygiene concerns. Overall, while the location and dining were highlights, I can't fully recommend this place without caution.
